Keep Calm and Carry On.

This semester. Oh My Gosh. I loved the photography projects. Not a huge fan of all the typing excercizes, but the blogging and projects were fun. I loved the class over all, not just for the projects, but also the people. There's a lot of people in here that I didn't see in first semester, and that made the class interesting. I made new friends through out this semester, and that's great.
This semester overall was great, projects and everything. Most people would probably agree with me that all of the people in class made it even greater. And that includes Mrs. DeBolt~

Carry On My Wayward Sons.

Life as a hunter isn't easy. It's a bunch of killing, saving and running.
Trust me, I'd know. I'm there with them. Sam and Dean, that is.
Sometimes I'm home.
Sometimes with the Doctor.
Sometimes with Sherlock and John.
Life is interesting.
Especially for me.

"I don't get why people are afraid to get messy. It's blood. It comes out."
Sam just rolled his eyes, "You know, you're really sarcastic."
I smirked, "Well, gee! I couldn't tell!" How was that for sarcasm, Sammy?
Dean chuckled, "She's around us too much."
The Doctor walked into the diner we were in and grinned, "Ah, there you are." He patted my head, "Been a while."
I chuckled softly, "Only a month." I was always between 'keepers'. I stood, saying bye to Sam and Dean as I walked toward the door. I opened the door and bit my lip, coming face-to-face with Sherlock.
He looked to Sam and Dean, "The TARDIS is gone, the Impala's been vandalized.
We all rushed outside.
I sighed softly, "Moriarty's back..."

A New Sort Of Pixar Movie

Once upon a time there was a man. A normal looking man. Nothing was normal for him. Everyday, he fought monsters. Lots. Little ones, big ones, weird ones who looked like him. His name is Sam Winchester. One day, something was different. Normal monster fights. Normal arguments with his brother. Something was different though. This monster wasn't...well, a monster. It was me. Because of that, I was beat up and douced in holy water. Lovely fun, isn't it? When he found that I wasn't reacting to the water, he began the questions.

"Who are you?"
"What's it to you?"
"It would be help ful if you would tell me. Now, what's your name?"
"Abbie,"

That's how it began. My hunting experiences.

There Goes The Baker With His Tray Like Always

Everything. Everything is always the same in this place. The baker, the bread, the books, the flowers, the people... everything.
Walking through a field, Belle came around something different. Nothing was different. Everything seemed to be set in stone. Had she found her adventure in the great wide somewhere?
She did indeed.
She stepped closer to the new...something. She looked up, examining the blue box that stood in front of her now.
Belle pondeered what could have been inside, "When did this-"
She was cut off by the doors opening in front of her, a man standing face-to-face with her.
"Hello!" He grinned, "I'm the Doctor! Now, you you could be a dear and tell me where I am, and the year, that would be magnificent!"
"You're...You're in France. In the year seventeen hundred and fifty-two."
"Oh, lovely. Right where I wanted to be!"
"Who are you? A doctor of what? Doctor who?"
"Exactly! Now, how would you like to get away from here?"

Part Of Your World

"What's this?" I swam toward the new treasure that had appeared under the sea. I touched the black strip at the top, reading the writing, "Police...Box?" I pouted my lips in confusion, "What's a police and why does it have a box?" I jolted back when the doors of the box opened, revealing a lanky man inside.
He grinned, "Hello!" He looked at me, a look of confusion overcoming him. He stepped out, but had a certain boundary that he couldn't pass for some reason, "Fish woman? No-no. That's not it..." He trailed off as I swam around the Box, inspecting it. Wondering why it was dry under all this water.
"Mermaid!" He exclaimed as I came back around, "A pretty one."
I bit my lip, looking at him, "Who are you? And how are you breathing? You're at the bottom of an ocean!"
He looked around a bit, "So I am..." He shrugged and grinned, "Now, tell me..."
I nodded, waiting for him to continue.
"Have you seen anything...strange?"
"You mean like a man in a 'Police Box?' under water?"

Think Of A Wonderful Thought, Any Happy Little Thought

As I stood silently, I stared at the doors. There were labels above all of them, but I felt the need to open all of them. I first opened the one leading to Narnia. I haven't read the books or seen the movies, but it wasn't as spectacular as everyone made it out to be. Next was Neverland; which is usually my answer to 'Where would you like to go on your dream vacation?'. I found it just as wonderful - possible better - than it looked in all of the Peter Pan themed movies I'd seen and all the books I'd read. I completely blew off the other doors and stepped inside, finding myself in Pan's tree house.
Behind me, a voice, "A lost girl?"
I turned, seeing the flying ginger himself, "Yeah, what's it to you, Flyboy?"
"It's unusual, that's what it is to me."
"Yeah, me having an FBI badge is unusual to people too."
"What-..." He cut himself off, shaking his head. He looked at me, "Are you too old for this? Or are you as immature as I am?"
"Are you asking me on an adventure?"
"Indeed, I am, M'lady. Animal of choice?"
"Raccoons." I smirked at him before he went searching for extra skins.
"Alright." He smiled brightly as he handed me the hat.
I shuddered slightly, pulling it on.
"Ready?"
"As I'll ever be."

So, Lemme Get This Straight...

...I come with Sherlock, and leave with Sam?
Yeah, we went to a party. Very unlike Sherlock. But it was John's idea. Great, right? So, as I'm looking around, I see all these lizards and stuff in cages. My first instinct is to open them all and watch everyone go crazy. Sherlock didn't permit horseplay. But it wasn't. It was lizardplay
Anyway, after that I saw Sam across the room. That was really unusual because we were England, Sam doesn't leave without Dean, and Dean doesn't like planes. I slipped away from Sherlock while he was examining the lizards and walked over to Sam, "What're you doing here?"
He looked back at me, almost as surprised as I was, "What're you doing at a party for adults?"
I rolled my eyes, "The high functioning sociopath dragged me along because he didn't want me to 'touch his work'. His work is in his head and I'm with him. How am I s'pposed to touch it?"
Sam sighed, "Alright, we'll we're gonna ship you back to Baker Street."
As we looked around, Sherlock appeared to be gone. But where? Where on Earth could he gone?
Suddenly, a vaguely familiar noise was outside. The TARDIS.

Two Men In a Booth

There are two men sitting in the booth of a diner eating dinner together and talking. A woman sits outside in a parked car, watching them through the window. Who are they? What is their relationship to one another? What are the men discussing? What is the woman thinking? What does she do next? Write a story that opens with this scene and explores these questions.

Two men are sitting in a booth of a diner, eating together and talking. A young woman sits outside in a '67 Chevy Impala, waiting for them. They're Winchesters - Brothers - Sammy and Dean Winchester. Speaking about another monster, they were quiet, not wanting to cause a scene if someone overheard them. I, the young woman mentioned earlier, was sitting there quietly. In their car. Because they made me stay there. Why? Because apparently they didn't want me to be 'overly loud' like last time. I sighed and got out of the car, marching my way into the diner. I sat next to Sam and sighed, crossing my arms, "You are aware that you could be arrested for leaving a minor alone in a car for a certain amount of time, correct? I could crash it into-" Dean had cut me off.
"First of all," he wagged his finger at me as he spoke, "Baby will not be crashed into anything." he sighed as he looked from Sam, then back to me, "Second of all, you're fourteen and much smarter than you appear. You should know how to use an FBI badge."
I rolled my eyes, "Oh yeah, because every FBI agent has acne."
Sam sighed at me, "Abbie, hush. We'll get you some food then get out of here, alright? We have a Djinn to catch and kill."

Pause or Rewind?

I don't exactly know which I'd rather have, but it seems like people I know have them.
Sherlock Holmes: Ah, the consulting detective. Seems like he has both when he's working a case. It seems like he can pause whatever situation he may be in, in his mind and deduce what he sees. And he can play it over in his mind as well. It's very interesting, actually.
The Doctor: The Doctor literally has both -- Thank you, TARDIS -- and a fast forward button. He can go to anytime, domention and anywhere in space he'd like. Like I said, he quite literally has both.
Dean Winchester: Dead, Dean, Dean...What can I say? The guy's died more times than I can count, but no one seems to remember the time he gained and lost fifty years in one night. Does that count as fast forward and rewind? Or one or the other?

I don't know what I'd choose, but neither of them can always ensure a good outcome. I mean, look at what happened to all of what I listed: Sherlock plunged off a building and [didn't] kill himself. The Doctor is simply insane. And Dean continues dying more and more. I don't know how they're all still alive. Especially Dean. Dean needs to stop dying.

A Detective, Two Doctors and Three Hunters.

"Sherlock?" John looked up to his friend, biting his lip.
I rolled my eyes, looking at Sam, "Who are they?" I looked to the other people, tilting my head slightly. I looked at the Detecive and Army doctor, "Sherlock Holmes and John Watson." I scoffed, "Why are they with us on a hunt?"
Dean shrugged, "Never seen 'em before." He looked around before looking behind me, "Hey, isn't that the box you post about a lot?" He gestured to the space behind me.
I turned around and bit my lip, my eyes going wide, "The TARDIS." I smiled.
Sherlock walked up to examine it, "Why are you so excited about a phonebox? It's just a-" He stopped suddenly when a tall lanky man opened the doors, grinning wildly.
I nudged Sam's arm, "That-That's the Doctor." I smiled.
Sam looked down at me, "That's nice." He patted the top of my head and sighed quietly, suddenly not wanting more help for this hunt.
I looked at the Doctor, "We're in Lawrence, Kansas. Year 2013."
He grinned at me, "You answered my question before I asked it. I like that." He chuckled and stepped fully out of the phonebox. He grinned, "Watson!"
Sherlock looked back at John, "You know him?"

I deserve a day off because...

obviously fiction

I tend to kill monsters on occasion, ya know? Be it with Sammy and Dean, or with the Doctor, I kill them. Interesting life, huh.
Most fun monster-killing trip I went on was probably last year, with Sam and Dean.
"A Wraith? Are you mad?" I looked to the two guys, sighing at the fact they were pulling me back into this, "Why can't you guys handle it? You did last time with the one that Sammy killed."
Sam rolled his eyes, "No, we need your help. Since Jo is gone, we can't do it without you."
Jo was a hunter, I never managed to meet her on any of these trips. I bit my lip, "What about school?"
Dean looked at me, a confused look washing over his face, "What about school?"
I shook my head, "I need to attend?" I replied, normal attitude toward him.
Sam sighed, "Just come with us, we'll get you an excuse."
"Parents?" I looked at them, crossing my arms, "I have those, you know."
"Hey, hey, hey. Don't get snippy." Dean pointed his index finger at me, almost wagging it.
"Whatever, Batman." Hah. Batman. I'm such a jerk, "Alright, where're we going?"
"New York." Dean replied, opening the door of his black '67 Chevy Impala.

Demons, Leviathans And Angels, Oh My!

Three people alive have ever faced all three in a lifetime, unless you want to count the Angel. Anyway, the three people? Sam and Dean Winchester, and Bobby Singer. Bobby has been gone for a long time because of the second monster listed, but Sammy and Dean seem to be getting along fine with the help of Castiel.  Sam's gone full paranoia once or twice over being in Lucifer's cage for a while, but Cas soon switched the torture over to himself and took Sam's spot in the hospital. Dean's being the protective older brother as usual, but now he has more than one person to worry about, since Cas went and took the torture of having Lucifer screaming in his head at every moment of  the day. Dean's always been protective, but since Sammy became a hunter again, he's been on edge a lot more, especially since they lost their dad, and now their adoptive dad. Bobby Singer was a friend of John Winchester, the boys' dad; and when John died, Bobby took over caring for the boys when needed. In my opinion Bobby was a good dad, and he held strong up until the moment he died.

The Best Book I Ever Read Was...

Wicked : The Life And Times Of The Wicked Witch Of The West. It tells of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, knows as 'The Green Witch' in The Wizard of Oz. If you've seen Wizard of Oz, I personally think you'd love Wicked. The whole story is based off of the backstory between the witches of Oz. Miss Ga-linda the great was friends with Elphaba, at Shiz University. And Elphaba's sister, Nessarose (also the witch crushed by Dorothy's house), was armless and fell in love with the Tinman before he was the Tinman. Miss Elphaba also had a crush. A crush on our lovely friend the Scarecrow. He was previously known as Fiyero of Kiama Co, a prince of his land. And the flying monkeys? Elphaba created them when she found a baby snow monkey on one of her many adventures. I'm not a person to give away spoilers, so no ending give aways. But I will say this: Dorothy's a murderer.

The Masks.

I know I talk a lot about tumblr, but I never really talk about what I do. I know I've gotten into many of my fandoms, but never my specific ones. On tumblr, I write stories with other people. More commonly known as roleplaying. On tumblr specifically, I roleplay as a Fem!Thor, Mark Cohen, and two OC's. Fem!Thor is simply a shorter way of saying 'Female Thor'. Mark Cohen is a film maker from the movie/broadway play 'Rent', and OC's are original characters. My OC's are called Ramona Green and Kurstan Jacobs. They're very different in many ways, but very much the same. All of my characters are. The only really different one is Thor, because she's a goddess. Roleplaying has made me a much better author and has helped me learn better grammar.

"I Only Did It Because....

...I needed to." I lied through my teeth as I looked away from my parents. I walked away, looking for hte two people I'd broken in with, "You're not Feds. They'll figure that out real quick."
Sam looked at me, "Are your parents cops?"
With a shake of my head, I answered.
Dean smirked, "Then no they won't."
"You drive a 'sixty-seven Impala with no legal plates. Moose-man's hair is to his shoulders, and you're like the joker. You laugh at everything, Dean."
He rolled his eyes and walked with Sam and I back over to my parents.
As the Winchesters began explaining what had happened, I began to zone out, missing most of the story. I sighed and crossed my arm before stepping away from the brothers and leaning against their Impala.
My mother looked at the two men before looking to me, "Salt, lighter fluid and matches? Really? What were you planning to do, make a bomb?"
"How do you even make a bomb with those things? You obviously need--" I quickly stopped, knowing my parents wouldn't be too happy to hear that I knew how to create things like that.
Sam patted my shoulder, still looking at my parents, "She'll be fine. We're gonna keep her for a few questions then we'll bring her home later, alright?"
With a slight nod, my parents left.
"So when are we gonna gank these things?"
I shrugged before looking to Sam, "Are you aware that you've written 'Han Solo' on your badge?"
Sam looked at me, rolling his eyes, "That is beside the point. Now, where'd you see the demons..."

This Quarter

This quarter was very interesting in many ways. Not much more was learned, except for the fact I have the ability to type up to sixty words per minute. This quarter was still very fun, I enjoyed the projects we got to, even if they did take a while. I personally think this class was better than last year, though last year wasn't a semester long course. I liked being able to have the blog posts on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I would like to do them more often, like have Times Typing Tests and blog posts switched so we have the blog posts on the days we'd normally have Times Typing Tests. Either way, it was enjoyable. I liked the entire class very much, even though I was absent through some of it.

Misha Collins

I know I say this about numerous actors, but I think Misha Collins is likely my favourite actor who has ever played an angel, ever. He's funny, sweet and just 'asdfghjkl;' as most on tumblr would say; even though when he's in character, he's emtionless, no-more-mister-nice-guy. He tweets literally every two minutes. And they're always hilarious. The man is like the Tony Stark of jokes and references. A genius. He's just.... ASDFGHJKL;. But that's my tumblogger side speaking, I must stay in touch with the purpose of this post. There's many other angels (and Angels) I like, but Cas -- or Misha, when it's not in character for Supernatural -- has to be my favourite.

Once Upon A Monsterous Time

One night, a quiet night, there was a sleeping princess. Not a normal princess, but we'll get to that later on. She was asleep in her bed, dreaming of whatever it is that princesses dream of. Suddenly, CRASH. She woke up with a start, eyes darting everywhere to find the source of the noise. She slowly got up, grabbing her dagger that she used in battle. With quiet footsteps, she slowly made her way to the door, opening it silently. She was suddenly face to face with a man, "Who are you?" She asked, completely furious with the man. He smiled, simply saying, "The Doctor, nice to see you. Now, please, tell me the year, location and if you've seen anything that looks like a frog-slash-green-giant baby." She was immeadiatly confused, "A what?" Suddenly, the described monster came out of no where, heading straight for the Doctor. With a flash and almost a bang, it was dead. The princess looked to the Doctor again, eyes wide with fear, "What was that!"

What Do You Mean She's Not Dead?

Binary. Binary code. Simple as that. The letters were in binary code. As I look to my used-to-be classmates, they seemed astomished as I began to decipher the letter I recieved from Missus Hudson, our old math teacher. I simply sigh to myself as I read through it, trying to figure out which letters and words were formed in the lines of zeros and ones. "She's not dead," I paraphrase, still trying to read through the seemingly randomly placed numbers. I shake my head, "This is just..." I trail off, trying to think of anyone, or thing, that could keep her captive. I quickly go back to the letter, trying to make out words from this computer code. I quickly look up, "Moriarty." I said it simply and quietly. James Moriarty -- Jim to most. The horrid being had killed himself three years before this day, and Missus Hudson was still being held under his control. Who would have thought that his commands would continue after his death, and the one of a Mister Sherlock Holmes.

KawaCon

Over the weekend a group of friends and I went to Kawa Con. Kawa Con is a convention for people who like Anime. We all dressed up in what is called 'cosplay'. Cosplay is basically a costume with a theme. But our cosplays had pretty much no theme except that we looked kinda cool. I went as Gir, Taylor S. went as Trunks, Caitlyn and Rebecca went as Rin and Len, Tess went as a Power Ranger, Emily went as Maka, and Sam went as her OC Savanna. It was very enjoyable once we really got into it. We met up with a few other friends while we were there and got to hang out. I found the entire convention very enjoyable and I'm very happy that I get to go to Comic Con STL in March.

The Winchesters (And Castiel)

Sam Winchester, the younger of the Winchester boys, is anything but normal. When he was only six months old, his mother died due to the yellow eyed demon, and he was manipulated, like many other children his age. He's gone on many hunts with his brother, Dean, and their angel friend Castiel. In almost every hunt they go on, demons are involved, be it Ruby, Meg, Crowley, Cross-Roads or Lucifer himself. Sam is very independant, which is why he tries to lead more than Dean does. He'd rather lead than follow his brother into a greater danger than if he led. Dean has already died more than once, but was revived by Cas each time. Even though he gets revived, Sam doesn't like seeing Dean die, and vise versa. It's a great brotherly relationship, despite the fact they didn't talk for years.

My Thoughts

When I looked at the tape measure, I had no idea what to think. But when I looked at it a bit longer, I realized something: Thoughts and ideas are endless. People may not think so, but imagination has no age or end. Adults are just grown up children, a prime example being Mister Mothersbaugh. People never really dislike having fun. Imagination is a key part of fun, and inagination is endless. There is no right or wrong way to imagine or have fun with your thoughts. Most of my thoughts are what get put down on paper for my drawings and drabbles. Imagination and thinking are basically the key to a lot of the things I do. Thoughts are endless, unlike that measuring tape.

Not the river, but the name of my puppy. She's a sweet little Boarder Collie-Boxer mix that thinks she's a cat. I don't get to see her as much as I'd like because of school, but she's still a great little dog. She's only about eleven weeks, so she's still pretty small, but she's going to be bigger. Memories In A Bottle

If I could bottle up any memory of mine, it would be one that hasn't happened in reality, but a dream. I don't dream much, but when I do, it's quite vivid. A few months ago, I had a dream, a fairly good one at that. It was of my olderself, happily traveling the world. But there was a magnificent twist, I was with the Doctor, in the TARDIS. I seemed so happy, and I'd like to rewatch the dream over and over if I could. It was great. It's like what I write about in my free time, playing in my head as a personal movie. I'd keep the memory, or dream in this case, in a deep blue coloured bottle, to match the TARDIS. And if I ever opened it, which would be quite often, it would sound like the TARDIS just before it started the memory. That's how I'd picture it, to be quite honest.

Supernatural

Supernatural. It's simply that. It's like my version of Twilight. But better. It's basically two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, hunting 'the yellow eyed demon', Azazel. There's more than one reason for that though. When Sam Winchester was six months old, he was basically manipulated by the demon. After that, they lost their mother in a 'house fire' because of said demon. Their father, John Winchester, became a hunter after his wife was killed, vowing that he'd get his revenge. He died suddenly, while Sam and Dean were in the hospital twenty-some odd years later, after a hunt-gone-wrong. Now, the boys have taken over the 'family business', hunting whatever is hurting people. Be it demons, sirens, giant teddy bears [don't ask, that's another story], or Jiin, they're there to protect the mortals in danger.

King? Or Veterans?

My thoughts on the subject are probably nothing because I am merely a student. But that doesn't mean I don't question this. I personally think that we should have had school if we had school on Veterans Day. Why? Because we need to know about both subjects. Yes, we've learned about both is earlier grades, but I see Martin Luther King Junior Day as more important. My reasoning is simply this: He did standing up for his people. He alone got assassinated, not killed in the war like soliers did. I understand that Veterans day is important too, I respect that. If we have school on one day, why not have it on the other? That doesn't seem to make sense to me. But, it's possibly just my way of thinking. I would like to know more about Martin Luther King Junior, but we don't really get the chance to discuss what he did anymore, unlike with veterans day.

The Hunters Are Coming, The Hunters Are Coming!

In this article, I read about snakes. Pythons in Florida to be exact. There have only been eleven found, caught and killed, only one hundred forty-nine thousand, nine hundred eighty-nine left to go. They're all over the state of Florida, being hunted. So far, the hunt is unsuccessful, seeing as only eleven have been caught. I personally think that they shouldn't be killed, but that's just me being the animal-lover I am. Here's the article.

Super-Who-Lock

Super-Who-Lock is an interesting thing. It's basically a combination of three shows. Those shows being Supernatural, Doctor Who and Sherlock. Supernatural is about two brothers who basically fight demons and monsters with the help of friends on the way. Sam and Dean Winchester, the brothers mentioned above, lost their mother when Sam was six months old, in a house fire due to one of the demons they're hunting. Sam is not as normal as Dean would like. it was because of the demon that Sam is now partially a psychic. And Doctor who is basically a bunch of 'wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey...stuff,' as the Doctor himself put it. Doctor Who is a soon-to-be fifty year old show about time travel, police boxes, Bad Wolves, and Timelords. It's a long series to explain, you should watch for yourself, you won't regret it. And finally, Sherlock. Sherlock is just a spin on Arthur Conan Doyal's orignal crime-solving book characters. Sherlock Holmes himself is very mysterious to put it simply. And John Watson, his army-doctor compainon, is very querky. Overall, I vbelieve the crossover would be marvelous.

Mrs. Debolt
1717 West Main St.
Festus, MO 63028

Dear Mrs. Debolt:

I have recently developed an 'addiction' to another blogging site. It's called Tumblr. It's basically a compilation of photos, videos and links. You blog with friends, make new ones, connect with other people around the world. It's great until you get attached to the people you talk to and you want to be on more and more. Basically, Tumblr is what the inside of your head looks like, but set up in pictures and text posts. Mine, obviously, would be full of Supernatural, Doctor Who and Sherlock Holmes. They're all popular 'fandoms' that I've come to find myself joining.

Fandoms are another thing though. Fandoms are basically groups of people who like the same things. Like what I stated before. I'm in a combination of all three fandoms, so most people would call me 'Super-Who-Locked.' And I'm not the only one. I have many friends who like the combination. But you have to look out for other people on Tumblr. There's something called 'Anon hate'. And basically, it's people sending anonymous messages, trying to hurt the receiver of the message emotionally. I haven't gotten any, but my friends have. It really bothers them, and myself, because it's worded hate toward us and our fandom.

Tumblr is probably one of the best websites I've been on. It's great. It's a way to share your artistic talents as well. You can post videos of you singing, or pictures of what you've drawn, or links to your art. I, personally, make art digitally now. It's a great way to share art with people you don't see as often as your friends in school. I've only had my Tumblr since the summer, but I love it. It's probably been my best experience on the computer.

Sincerely,

Abbie Sharp

Letters From Prison

I received a letter from an old friend, one recently put in prison. I was fairly confused when I read it, but soon understood. Why me? Why did I have to get the...whatever it was? I shrugged it off and replied with a new letter, asking what it was. It was a simple present for him. A present to help him get out. I knew security wouldn't let him keep it, it was against the rules. Wooden stakes probably weren't allowed on the prison grounds. And what kind of sane person would let an inmate have a wooden stake? It's not like there's really a vampire he could kill with it. Right? I mean, I know it's Dean Winchester, and he's got all these crazy ideas about demons, monsters and stuff like that, but seriously. A wooden stake? A vampire inmate? I honestly think Dean's been in solitary confinement way too long. It's getting to him.
